Thames Valley holds a special place in the heart of Conectid Group. However, the decision to relocate stems from a broader context. While historically vibrant and dynamic, London has presented challenges related to safety, governance, and value for investment.
Furthermore, significant concerns have been raised about the Thames Valley police's handling of issues, including allegations of gross misconduct, incompetence, and potential discrimination against our team and organisation.
These challenges have inevitably impacted our timeline and considerations regarding opening our U.K. production facility with our subsidiary company, Appliance Book Ltd., focusing on assembling and producing products harnessing our advanced induction technology.
Despite these setbacks, Conectid Group remains undeterred in its commitment to the U.K. We are enthusiastic about expanding our research and fortifying our bonds with U.K. partners, businesses, and academic institutions. Our relocation to Thames Valley positions us near many international tech enterprises, some of whom have shared our sentiments regarding the existing challenges of governance and public responsibility in the region.
